Oatmeal breaks down slowly in the stomach, giving you long-lasting energy. It is also full of water-soluble fibers, which play a crucial role in making you feel full over a longer period of time. Studies have also shown that oatmeal reduces cholesterol, maintains blood sugar levels and fights against heart disease, diabetes, colon cancer, and obesity.

Vanilla Blueberry Oats-in-a-Jar

This recipes is quick and easy to throw together in no time and will make the perfect grab-and-go healthy breakfast to keep you feeling energized and satisfied.
- 1/2 cup oats (Quick Cooking)
- 1/4 cup blueberries (Freeze Dried)
- 1 1/2 tsp powdered vanilla
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp flax seed (ground)
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (Ceylon )
- 2 tsp coconut sugar
Place all ingredients in a small mason jar and shake. Store in the fridge.
When ready to eat add 1/2-1 cup hot water and let rest for 8-10 minutes.
