Who doesn’t want a quick grab-and-go breakfast idea?

Sometimes breakfast can be hectic and often times you may go through the drive up window to fill your hungry belly. But those quick trips through the drive up really aren’t a healthy option and can make you feel tired and less productive throughout your day!

Oatmeal is the perfect meal to start your day because it boosts your energy and has plenty of fiber to keep you full and satisfied. Oatmeal breaks down slowly in the stomach, giving you long-lasting energy. It is also full of water-soluble fibers, which play a crucial role in making you feel full over a longer period of time. Studies have also shown that oatmeal reduces cholesterol, maintains blood sugar levels and fights against heart disease, diabetes, colon cancer, and obesity.

This recipes is quick and easy to throw together in no time and will make the perfect grab-and-go healthy breakfast to keep you feeling energized and satisfied.

Equipment

  • small mason jar

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup oats Quick Cooking
  • 1/4 cup blueberries Freeze Dried
  • 1 1/2 tsp powdered vanilla
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp flax seed ground
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon Ceylon
  • 2 tsp coconut sugar

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a small mason jar and shake. Store in the fridge.
  • When ready to eat add 1/2-1 cup hot water and let rest for 8-10 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
